Steven H. Lipstein. President and CEO of BJC HealthCare (St. Louis). As president and CEO of BJC HealthCare, Mr. Lipstein is in charge of one of the nation’s largest healthcare organizations, with 12 hospitals, more than 26,000 employees and $4.1 billion in net revenue. In addition to leading BJC, Mr. Lipstein serves on the St. Louis Regional Health Commission and on the board of the Missouri Hospital Association. He also holds several leadership positions within WashingtonUniversity in St. Louis, serving on the board of trustees, on the School of Medicine National Council and chairing the Institute of Public Health National Advisory Council. Last year, he was elected for membership to the Institute of Medicine of the National Academies.
