Steve Grubbs named CEO of Bay Medical Center Sacred Heart Health System: 5 things to know

Panama City, Fla.-based Bay Medical Center Sacred Heart Health System has named Steve Grubbs president and CEO, according to The News Herald.

Here are five things to know about Mr. Grubbs.

1. Mr. Grubbs will begin the position in mid-August.

2. Mr. Grubbs replaces Barry Keel, who stepped down in January. Mark Gregson has been serving as interim CEO. 

3. Mr. Grubbs has more than 28 years of hospital management experience.

4. Mr. Grubbs most recently served as CEO of Paris (Texas) Regional Medical Center, a two-campus regional referral center with 368 licensed beds.

5. Mr. Grubbs is a past member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and is a current member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
