Steve Embree promoted to regional CFO for Bell Hospital, MGH, Portage Health

Steve Embree, CPA, MBA, CFO at Marquette General Hospital in Marquette, Mich., has been promoted to regional CFO of Marquette (Mich.) General Health System, Ishpeming, Mich.-based Bell Hospital and Hancock, Mich.-based Portage Health, according to ABC News.

“I’m very excited to have this opportunity,” Mr. Embree said. “Our leadership team has done a tremendous job positioning our hospitals for growth across the Upper Peninsula. I look forward to providing the financial leadership to drive this growth and expand access to healthcare in our communities.”

Mr. Embree has more than 25 years of experience as a CFO in the healthcare industry. He is a certified public accountant with a MBA from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
