Stephen A. Williams. President and CEO of Norton Healthcare (Louisville, Ky.). Mr. Williams has served as president and CEO of Norton Healthcare since 1993. He originally joined the system in 1977 and since served as executive vice president and COO, vice president of quality management and vice president of managed hospitals. He has served on the board of trustees for the American Hospital Association and chaired its Regional Policy Board, chaired the board of the Kentucky Hospital Association and received its Award of Excellence. Mr. Williams has received the Distinguished Alumni Award from both Kentucky-based Murray State University and the Minneapolis-based University of Minnesota.
