Starr Regional Medical Center Names Mark Nichols CEO

Starr Regional Medical Center has named Mark Nichols CEO, effective July 7.

Most recently, Mr. Nichols served as CEO of LewisGale Hospital Pulaski (Va.). He has also previously served as CEO of Coliseum Northside Hospital in Macon, Ga.

“Mark brings more than 30 years of healthcare administration experience to Starr Regional Medical Center and the Athens and Etowah communities,” said Jeff Seraphine, president of LifePoint Hospitals’ Eastern Group, of which Starr Regional is a part.
