Mr. McLain most recently was CEO of Bayfront Health St. Petersburg (Fla.). He resigned after a year and a half in that role.
He his prior leadership experience at several healthcare facilities, including serving as CEO of Venice (Fla.) Regional Bayfront Health and executive vice president and COO of Southern Regional Health System in Riverdale, Ga.
Mr. McLain is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and recently served as vice chair of the St. Petersburg Economic Development Council. He holds an MBA and a master’s degree in health administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta.
Mr. McLain succeeds Mark Nichols, who has retired, as CEO of Starr Regional.
