Stanford Medicine Children’s Health names new CIO, digital officer

Tanya Townsend was named chief information and digital officer of Palo Alto, Calif.-based Stanford Medicine Children’s Health. She will join the health system in September.

In this role, Ms. Townsend will oversee Stanford Children’s digital transformation and technology-driven initiatives, according to a July 10 news release from the health system.

She previously served as senior vice president and CIO of New Orleans-based LCMC Health.
