Stanford Hospital & Clinics Names Dr. Pravene Nath CIO, Dr. Christopher Sharp CMIO

Palo Alto, Calif.-based Stanford Hospital & Clinics announced Pravene Nath, MD, has been named CIO and Christopher Sharp, MD, has been named chief medical information officer.

Dr. Nath most recently served as interim chief information officer, before which he served as chief medical information officer.

Dr. Sharp is currently a clinical associate professor in the department of medicine at Stanford and also practices at the Stanford Internal Medicine clinic. In his new role, he will report to Dr. Nath and will oversee Stanford Hospital & Clinic’s clinical informatics strategy.
