Palo Alto, Calif.-based Stanford Health Care has named Howard Kung vice president of mid-revenue cycle, according to a Nov. 15 post on his LinkedIn page.
Mr. Kung joins Stanford from Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic, where he served as senior director of revenue integrity since October 2022. Prior to that, he spent more than 20 years at Los Angeles-based UCLA Health, where he held various leadership roles across revenue capture and hospital finance.
In his new role, he will have operational accountability for health information management, hospital and professional coding services, revenue integrity and clinic documentation integrity teams.
He was named among Becker’s 80 health IT & revenue cycle up-and-comers to know in 2025.
