Stanford Children’s Health selects Rick Majzun as COO

Palo Alto, Calif.-based Stanford Children’s Health named Rick Majzun vice president and COO, effective immediately.

In his new role, Mr. Majzun will oversee operations for Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford in Palo Alto and Stanford Children’s Health, including its primary care and specialty services outpatient locations.

Most recently, Mr. Majzun was president and COO of Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, R.I. Before that he was vice president of operations at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

He holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine, and he has completed an administrative fellowship at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit.
