St. Louis Children’s Hospital taps new chief development officer

St. Louis Children’s Hospital appointed Tanya Waskiewicz as chief development officer for its foundation, a role that became effective Aug. 23.

Ms. Waskiewicz has more than 20 years of healthcare fundraising experience. She most recently served as vice president of the Mercy Health Foundation for nine years, where she led donor development and fundraising efforts for Mercy Hospital and Mercy Clinics throughout the St. Louis region, according to the announcement.  

Her other previous fundraising roles include vice president of development at Children’s Hospital of Orange County (Calif.) and director of development at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
