St. Jude appoints CEO for fundraising organization

Ike Anand has been named president and CEO of the fundraising organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Mr. Anand has served as interim CEO of the American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities since March and as COO since 2020, according to a July 8 news release from St. Jude.

He succeeds Richard Shadyac Jr., who stepped down March 1 after leading the organization since 2009.

Mr. Anand, ALSAC’s seventh CEO, takes the helm halfway through St. Jude’s $12.9 billion strategic program focused on advancing global treatments and cures, the release added.
