St. Joseph’s Health taps chief administrative officer

Paterson, N.J.-based St. Joseph’s Health has appointed David De Simone as its chief administrative officer and general counsel, effective Jan. 13.

Mr. De Simone has more than 25 years of healthcare experience. From 2014 to 2022, he served as senior vice president and chief legal officer for CentraState Health System in Freehold, N.J. Prior to this role, he was vice president and general counsel for Egg Harbor Township, N.J.-based AtlantiCare Health System.

Most recently, he served as chief council of Ohio Living, a senior living, home health and hospice organization based in Columbus.

“I’m thrilled to return to New Jersey to join an institution with a history of excellence and service to the community,” Mr. De Simone said in a Jan. 9 news release. “We will work together to create innovative provider arrangements to offer the best care to our patients when and where they need it.”
