St. Joseph’s Health taps Leslie Paul Luke to lead as CEO: 4 notes

St. Joseph’s Health, based in Syracuse, N.Y., named Leslie Paul Luke president and CEO, effective Feb. 20, 2017.

Here are four notes:

1. Currently, Mr. Luke serves as interim CEO of Tennova East in Knoxville, Tenn., part of Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems.

2. He has been with CHS since 2006, serving in numerous leadership roles.

3. He holds a master’s degree in health administration from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

4. He replaces current St. Joseph’s Health CEO Kathy Ruscitto, who is retiring.
