St. Joseph Regional Health Center CEO takes position with Community Health Network: 3 things to know

Kathy Krusie, CEO of St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan, Texas, is stepping down after five years at the helm, according to The Eagle.

Here are three things to know about Ms. Krusie.

1. Ms. Krusie has accepted a position as president over the north region for Community Health Network in Indianapolis. Her last day at St. Joseph Regional Health Center is expected to be Aug. 7.

2. During her tenure at St. Joseph Regional Health Center, Ms. Krusie oversaw the designation of the hospital as a Level II Trauma Center. She also is leading a design team for the $22 million emergency and trauma center construction project.

3. Ms. Krusie also led the integration of Bellville (Texas) General Hospital into the St. Joseph System, a health ministry of the Sisters of St. Francis of Sylvania, Ohio, and served as the system’s COO, according to the report. St. JosephRegionalHealthCenter is the anchor facility for St. Joseph Health System.
