St. James Healthcare CEO Chuck Wright to retire next month: 5 things to know

Butte, Mont.-based St. James Healthcare CEO Chuck Wright plans to retire, effective Feb. 17, 2017, according to an NBC Montana report.

Here are five things to know:

1. Mr. Wright led St. James, part of Broomfield, Colo.-based SCL Health, for the last eight years.

2. He is ending his 34-year healthcare career to spend more time with his family.

3. During his tenure, St. James made significant investments in technology. He also helped develop the St. James Medical Group.

4. Jay Doyle, the current CFO of SCL Health’s Lutheran Medical Center in Denver, will serve as St. James Healthcare’s interim president.  

5. From 2008 to mid-2015, Mr. Doyle served as the vice president of finance and CFO at St. James.
