Here are six notes:
1. The transitions will take place after The University of Kansas and Ardent Health complete the purchase of St. Francis Health from its current parent, Broomfield, Colo.-based SCL Health.
2. The sale is expected to be completed in the first half of November, and the hospital will be renamed The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus,
3. Mark Gregson, currently serving as chief transition officer, will take over as interim CEO. According to his LinkedIn profile, Mr. Gregson is president at HBL Healthcare, which provides interim healthcare executive and consulting services.
4. St. Francis Health President David Setchel, Vice President of Finance Essence Montgomery and Vice President of the Medical Group Erik Olson will be replaced.
5. Samuel Moore will serve as CFO and Jim Bancuk as interim practice administrator after the sale is complete.
6. Current St. Francis Health CMO Jacqueline Hyland, MD, and Chief Nursing Officer Lisa Alexander will retain their roles.
