Austin, Texas-based St. David’s Medical Center named Jason Schwan CFO, effective Oct. 19.
Mr. Schwan brings more than 20 years of healthcare finance experience. He most recently served as CFO of Southern Hills Hospital & Medical Center in Las Vegas, a 331-bed hospital.
In that role, he supported strategic growth and investments to expand clinical capabilities, including the opening of new operating rooms, freestanding emergency departments and inpatient rehabilitation beds.
Before joining Southern Hills, Mr. Schwan held finance leadership roles at hospitals in the Kansas City area. He served as CFO of Lee’s Summit Medical Center for seven years and as controller of Centerpoint Medical Center for two years.
