St. Claire HealthCare CEO to retire in 2019: 3 things to know

Morehead, Ky.-based St. Claire HealthCare President and CEO Mark J. Neff will retire, effective Jan. 31, 2019.

Here are three things to know:

1. Mr. Neff assumed the health system’s top post in 1995.

2. During his tenure, the health system partnered with Morehead State University and Lexington-based University of Kentucky to build the $30 million Center for Health, Education and Research.

3. Until his retirement, Mr. Neff will continue to serve as chair for the Morehead/Rowan County Economic Development Board and Gateway Child Advocacy Center Board.

“I’m sad to leave, but excited about a new adventure as my wife, Diane, and I are moving back to Notre Dame to be closer to our children and grandchildren,” Mr. Neff said in a statement.
