St. Catherine Hospital taps Leo Correa to serve as CEO: 4 things to know

St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago, Ind., named Leo Correa CEO.

Here are four things to know:

1. Most recently, Mr. Correa served as associate vice president of clinical affairs at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.

2. He has previously held numerous executive leadership positions at the University of Chicago Medicine and Northwestern University in Chicago, as well.

3. He earned his MBA degree with a concentration in health services from New York City-based DeVry University’s Keller Graduate School of Management.

4. He succeeds Jo Ann Birdzell, who is retiring after serving as CEO for 19 years.
