Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System announced that it has appointed Theresa Rutherford, RN, president and CEO of its St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Ill.
Most recently, Ms. Rutherford served as COO of St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur, Ill. She began her career at HSHS in 1979 as a licensed practical nurse at St. Mary's.
Ms. Rutherford will begin her new role July 15.
