Here are five things to know:
1. Ms. Walczak most recently served as vice president of patient care at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital-Janesville (Wis.).
2. She has also served as chief nursing officer for St. Louis-based SSM Health’s Wisconsin region and director of government programs for The Joint Commission.
3. She is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives.
4. In addition to her nursing degree, Ms. Walczak holds an MBA from Lake Forest (Ill.) Graduate School of Management.
5. She is the permanent successor to Laura Jelle, who abruptly left the facility in May.
