St. Louis-based SSM Health tapped Kerry Swanson, MSN, BSN, to serve as president of hospital operations for its southern Illinois region, which includes two regional hospitals, eight family health centers and several specialty programs.
Here are four notes:
1. Ms. Swanson is currently the president of SSM Health St Mary's Hospital-Janesville (Wis.).
2. She came to SSM Health in 2009 from Alliance (Ohio) Community Hospital, where she served as COO.
3. She replaces Phil Gustafson, who will retire on March 17, 2017.
4. She will assume her new role on April 3, 2017.
