SSM Health Care Selects Dr. Shane Peng as President of Physician and Ambulatory Services

St. Louis, Mo.-based SSM Health Care has named Shane Peng, MD, permanent executive vice president and president of physician and ambulatory services, a role he has held in an interim capacity since August 2013.

Dr. Peng also serves as president of the SSM St. Louis Physician Organization and will continue to carry out these duties until a successor is named.

Before joining SSM Health Care in February 2013, Dr. Peng served as vice president and senior medical director of Sentara Medical Group in Norfolk, Va.
