Spectrum Health COO to step into CEO role: 6 notes - Becker's Hospital Review

1. Ms. Freese Decker most recently served as executive vice president and COO of Spectrum Health.

2. She joined Spectrum Health in 2002.

3. She serves on the board of directors for several organizations, including the Michigan Health and Hospital Association.

4. She previously served as the Michigan and Northwest Ohio regent for the American College of Healthcare Executives.

5. In 2013, she received ACHE’s Robert S. Hudgens Memorial Award for Young Healthcare Executive of the Year.

6. Ms. Freese Decker succeeds Richard C. Breon, who is ending his tenure Aug. 31.
