Beaufort (S.C.) Memorial Hospital named Ashley Hildreth, MSN, RN, its inaugural assistant chief nursing officer.
In this role, Ms. Hildreth will support nursing staff and leaders throughout the system, strengthen workforce development, promote clinical consistency across facilities, advance patient-centered care and help the nursing team open the Beaufort Memorial Bluffton Community Hospital, according to a March 5 system news release. The ACNO role was created in preparation for the hospital’s opening.
Ms. Hildreth started in medicine as an EMT and joined the system as a graduate nurse in the emergency department. Most recently, she served as corporate director of quality and regulatory affairs, and patient safety officer.
Her appointment came a few days after the hospital announced Marissa Jamarik, DNP, RN, as vice president of patient care services and CNO.
