Sinai Health System CEO Alan Channing to Retire

Alan Channing, president and CEO of Chicago-based Sinai Health System, has announced plans to retire on July 1, according to the hospital.

Mr. Channing led the hospital for the past 10 years and is retiring to “play with the grandkids, annoy my spouse, rediscover my hobbies and be supportive of Sinai while exploring other options,” he said in a news release.

Before joining Sinai Health System, Mr. Channing served as CEO of Saint Luke’s Medical Center and Saint Vincent Hospital in Cleveland and of three hospitals in the New York City Health and Hospitals Corp.
