Sheppard Pratt Health System’s new COO is Armando Colombo: 3 notes

Baltimore-based Sheppard Pratt Health System named Armando E. Colombo vice president and COO, effective April 24.

1. Most recently, Mr. Colombo worked at Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He served as CEO of Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital and interim CEO of Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital.

2. Previously, he served as president and CEO of InterMedical Hospital of South Carolina in Columbia.

3. He has served on numerous boards, including on the American Lung Association’s board.
