Birmingham, Ala.-based Brookwood Baptist Health named Susan Bria permanent chief nursing officer of Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, Ala.

1. Ms. Bria has served as interim CEO in May, in addition to serving as director of nursing.

2. She has also served as nurse manager at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham.
