Shasta Regional Medical Center in Redding, Calif., announced the retirement of CEO Cyndy Gordon, according to a KRCR News Channel report.

1. Ms. Gordon has worked at the hospital for nearly 40 years.

2. She began her career at the hospital as a nurse’s aid.

3. She will be stepping down from her post in July 2017.

4. The hospital is searching for a replacement for Ms. Gordon.
