Brigham and Women’s Hospital hires Madelyn Pearson as CNO: 4 takeaways

Boston-based Brigham and Women’s Hospital appointed Madelyn Pearson, MSN, RN, senior vice president of patient care services and CNO, effective June 12.

Here are four takeaways:

1. Currently, Ms. Pearson currently serves as regional senior vice president of patient care services and CNO for New York City-based Mount Sinai Health System’s Downtown campus.  

2. She also co-chairs the nursing quality leadership council for the Mount Sinai Health System.

3. Previously, she was the senior vice president of patient care services and CNO at Englewood (N.J.) Hospital and Medical Center.

4. Ms. Pearson will take over for interim CNO Lisa Morrissey, DNP, RN, who has led the nursing department since October 2016.
