Sharecare appoints Twitter executive as its first chief commercial officer: 3 things to know

Atlanta-based Sharecare, a comprehensive health and wellness engagement platform, has appointed digital industry veteran Brent Herd as the company’s first chief commercial officer.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Herd.

1. Mr. Herd officially joined Sharecare July 27.

2. As chief commercial officer, Mr. Herd will be responsible “for securing partnerships to scale penetration of Sharecare’s frictionless innovations,” according to Sharecare. He will start with Sharecare’s voice analysis app.

3. Mr. Herd has been successful in developing emerging digital partnerships and sales strategies, according to Sharecare. Most recently, Mr. Herd was head of sales for the telecommunications and travel industries at Twitter. He also previously held several senior-level business development positions at renowned tech companies including AOL.
