Santa Clara Valley Medical Center Releases CEO Linda Smith From Duties

Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, Calif., has released CEO Linda Smith from her duties, according to a Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal report.

Ms. Smith has served as CEO since February 2011. Trudy Johnson, the medical center’s chief of nursing, confirmed that she has been named interim CEO. Hospital officials declined to comment on Ms. Smith’s departure.
