Both hospitals are owned by Community Health Systems in Franklin, Tenn. According to the report, Mr. Holland decided to move hospitals because it is an opportunity that would not likely come around again. Although Cedar Park Regional is a smaller hospital than SACMC, Mr. Holland hopes to meet CHS’ expectations and move the hospital in the right direction in a “faster-paced environment in one of the nation’s fastest growing cities,” according to the report.

America Farrell will assume the role of interim CEO at SACMC. He most recently served as the project CEO of Tomball (Texas) Regional Medical Center. Mr. Holland will work closely with Mr. Farrell and SACMC during the transition process.
