Mr. Hoefer replaces Dawn Anuszkiewicz, who resigned this past to spring to become CEO of Ochsner Baptist Medical Center in New Orleans.
Previously, Mr. Hoefer served as president of 180-bed SSM St. Clare Health Center in Fenton, Mo. He also spent 16 years with Sentara Healthcare based in Norfolk, Va.
