Saint Joseph Health System names Chad Towner CEO

Mishawaka, Ind.-based Saint Joseph Health System named Chad W. Towner CEO, effective Oct. 14.

Mr. Towner most recently served as CEO of Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind., part of the Lutheran Health Network, based in Indiana. He has also served on the LHN CEO council, which represents eight LHN hospitals and more than 7,000 employees. He has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare leadership and started his career as a physical therapist at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Saint Joseph Health System is a member of Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health. SJHS offers both acute-based hospital care and post-acute services.
