RWJBarnabus names chief pediatric surgeon

New Brunswick, N.J.-based RWJBarnabas Health named pediatric surgeon Steven Stylianos, MD, as system director for pediatric surgery and surgeon-in-chief at the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

He will also work as a professor of surgery in the department of surgery and chief of the division of pediatric surgery at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, according to a Dec. 2 system news release.

Previously, Dr. Stylianos was the chief of pediatric general surgery at Columbia University and surgeon-in-chief at New York-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, both based in New York City.
