RWJBarnabas Health C-suite leader expands role

Deb Lienhardt, chief business development officer and executive vice president at RWJBarnabas Health, has begun her expanded role as chief legal officer, the West Orange, N.J.-based health system said in a LinkedIn post earlier this month. She is now executive vice president, chief business development and legal officer.

In her expanded role, Ms. Lienhardt will oversee the general counsel’s office and continue to support RWJBarnabas Health leaders in strategic business decisions, the organization said. 

“We are confident that Deb’s expanded role will help our partner practices, ambulatory surgery centers and other outpatient assets thrive,” the organization said.

Ms. Lienhardt joined RWJBarnabas Health in 2019 as senior vice president of business development, according to her LinkedIn page. She became executive vice president of business development and innovation in 2020 before taking on the chief business development officer role in 2022.
