Ms. Johnson has almost 25 years of experience in oncology nursing and nursing administration and 40 years of experience as a registered nurse. She was previously SVP and CNO at Duarte, Calif.-based City of Hope comprehensive cancer center, where she managed 1,200 providers. She joined City of Hope in 2008.
Ms. Johnson was also executive director of the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis for 10 years. She received the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer Award for Distinguished Service in 2006 and the California State Legislature 2013 Woman of the Year distinction.
