Ronald T. Sliwinski. President of UW Hospitals and Chief of Clinical Operations (Madison, Wis.). Following the July 1 merger between the UW Hospitals and Clinics Authority and UW Medical Foundation, Mr. Sliwinski assumed the title president of UW Hospitals and chief of clinical operations. Previously, Mr. Sliwinski had served as the president and CEO of UW Hospital and Clinics since August 2014, and before that, he was the senior vice president and COO of UW Hospital and Clinics for roughly four years. Throughout his career, Mr. Sliwinski has served in a variety of executive and administrator roles in the healthcare industry. That said, his professional background also includes engineering at General Motors Corporation and at a private environmental engineering consulting firm.
