Here are five notes:
1. Mr. Sehring succeeds Kevin Schoeplein, who retired.
2. Mr. Sehring has been serving as COO of the health system since January, working closely with Mr. Schoeplein to ensure a smooth transition.
3. Prior to that, he was CEO of OSF’s central region, a role he held since February 2015.
4. He has worked at OSF since 2002 and has served in a number of leadership roles since then, including CEO of ambulatory and accountable care as well as chief ministry services officer.
5. He has previously served in leadership roles at Aetna, New York Life and Metropolitan Life Insurance.
