Robert Montagnese. President and CEO of Licking Memorial Health Systems (Newark, Ohio). Mr. Montagnese began his tenure at Licking Memorial Health Systems nearly 29 years ago as a file clerk. He now serves as president and CEO of the system, which includes the 227-bed Licking Memorial Hospital and the 100-plus member physician organization Licking Memorial Health Professionals. The health system has more than 1,000 employees serving patients across Ohio. During his time as CEO, Mr. Montagnese oversaw the implementation of numerous population health programs as well as an interventional cardiology program. In addition to leading Licking Memorial, Mr. Montagnese is a volunteer for several local nonprofits, including the Licking County Salvation Army, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Newark Campus Development Fund, to name a few.
