Robert Montagnese. President and CEO of Licking Memorial Health Systems (Newark, Ohio). Mr. Montagnese has climbed the ladder at Licking Memorial, starting as a college intern file clerk and continuing on to serve as controller and accounting manager, senior vice president of financial services and then executive vice president before taking his current roles in 2006. Under his leadership, LMHS has added several new services, including two urgent care facilities, a roughly 69,000-square-foot facility for outpatient surgeries and outpatient clinics and an acute inpatient rehab unit, among other additions. Since he took the helm, Truven Health Analytics has named LMHS as one of its 100 Top Hospitals a total of five times, most recently in 2014.
