Aitkin, Minn.-based Riverwood Healthcare Center has appointed three new leaders to its executive team.
Carla Zupko, BSN, RN, was named chief nursing officer. Ms. Zupko most recently served as vice president of patient care services for Little Falls, Minn.-based CHI St. Gabriel's Health since 2016, according to an Aug. 12 news release.
Wendy Franke was named the healthcare center's director of quality and will be responsible for developing its quality improvement and risk management program. Ms. Franke is a healthcare administrator with more than 22 years of military service. She served as commander and administrator at Barksdale (La.) Air Force Base, the news release said.
Wendy Ryan, RN, was appointed director of surgical services. Ms. Ryan most recently served as supervisor in Riverwood's post-anesthesia care unit for eight years, according to the announcement.
