Richmond University Med Center CEO Richard Murphy Resigns for South Nassau Communities CEO Position

New York City-based Richmond University Medical Center CEO Richard Murphy is stepping down to serve as president and CEO of South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, N.Y., according to a Staten Island Advance report.

Mr. Murphy has served as CEO of Richmond University Medical Center for four years. According to the report, leading South Nassau Communities will allow him to spend more time with his family in Long Island, N.Y. Mr. Murphy will depart Richmond University Medical Center within the next few months.
