Jeff Prater has been named vice president of rural health for Reno, Nev.-based Renown Health.
Prior to his new role, Mr. Prater served as CEO of Gardnerville, Nev.-based Carson Valley Health, according to an April 29 news release.
In his new role, Mr. Prater will oversee Renown’s rural health strategy, deepening relationships with rural and critical access hospitals and physicians across rural Nevada and northern California.
Mr. Prater will also focus on advancing clinical integration and identifying opportunities to build more sustainable healthcare delivery models throughout the region.
