The hospital’s board of trustees voted out Mr. Dandridge, a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.  He is an employee of Brentwood, Tenn.-based Quorum Health Resources, which manages the hospital. He will remain with Quorum and, according to a hospital statement noted in the report, his replacement was due to a “recommendation from Quorum that will allow him to pursue other opportunities within the company.” It is not yet clear what the other opportunities would be.

The hospital also terminated its contract with Quorum in December 2016. The termination will go into effect on March 30, 2017. Until then, Quorum’s Regional Vice President Frank Swinehart will serve as the hospital’s interim CEO. The hospital’s board of trustees will begin searching for a new CEO to take over after March 30, according to the report.
