Reading Health System appoints Cary Blanchette president of Reading Health System Foundation

Reading (Pa.) Health System has appointed Cary Blanchette president of Reading Health System Foundation, the system announced.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Blanchette and his new role.

1. As president of Reading Health System Foundation, Mr. Blanchette will be responsible for building the grateful patient, planned giving and sponsorship programs, according to the system.

2. Prior to joining Reading Health System, Mr. Blanchette was executive director of Colorado Springs, Colo.-based Memorial Hospital Foundation.

3. Mr. Blanchette has more than 26 years of executive nonprofit experience.

4. Mr. Blanchette has also held senior level positions at Third Millennium Philanthropy in San Diego, Sharp HealthCare Foundation in San Diego, University of San Diego and Scripps Hospitals Foundation in La Jolla, Calif., according to Reading Health.
