Rapid City Regional Hospital’s President Mick Gibbs leaves post: 3 notes

Rapid City (S.D.) Regional Hospital President Mick Gibbs resigned, according to a Rapid City Journal report.

Here are three notes:

1. Mr. Gibbs’ resignation was effective Aug. 16.

2. While no reason was given for his resignation, Paulette Davidson, COO of the hospital’s parent Rapid City-based Regional Health, said in a statement, “I would like to thank Mick for his contributions to Regional Health and wish him the best in his future endeavors,” according to the report.

3. The hospital named Dennis Millirons interim president. He previously served as president of Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, N.D.
