Providence taps Don Lemmon as North Coast Service Area chief executive: 4 notes

Renton, Wash.-based Providence Health & Services appointed Don Lemmon chief executive of its North Coast Service Area, which includes oversight over Providence Seaside (Ore.) Hospital, according to a Cannon Beach Gazette report.

Here are four notes:

1. Most recently, Mr. Lemmon served as director of operations for Providence Hood River (Ore.) Memorial Hospital.

2. He was previously vice president at Penn Highlands Healthcare in DuBois, Pa.

3. He holds a master’s degree in healthcare management from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City.

4. Mr. Lemmon succeeds Kendall Sawa, who took up the COO role at Providence Portland (Ore.) Medical Center.
